When I turn on my a/c it blows the 10a fuse, could it be a electric clutch problem or am I only looking for a shorted wire somewhere

Take out fuse and put a test light in place of fuse. Recreate the condition for fuse to blow and test light should illuminate. Deep disconnecting harnesses until light goes off. Last one pulled is where the problem is.
