You can rent a tool at most autoparts stores (large "C" clamp) to remove studs.

Cannot get get stripped lug nut out, using a tire cross bar doesn't work, the tire/rim is still on truck, and need to change rotors, brake pads.

Studs are pressed in, the "C" clamp has a large reciever at on end, you simply turn clamp bolt to remove stud.
