S-10 Blazer - 4-wd
Vehicle has a vibration that is most noticable on passenger side floor board starting at about 25 mph and remains steady until about 40 mph. Is worst when accelerating and/or at steady speed. Dissappears when slowing down. R or L turns have no affect.

Repairs made recently before problem started include:
New upper and lower ball joints, both sides.
Upper a-arm bushings, both sides.
Full front end alignment.
New brake rotors and pads.
New tires.

Repairs made after problem started include:
New RH outer wheel bearing assy - old bearing was found to be dry.
Reman CV shaft assy - found grease leaking past clamp on inner slip joint boot, also shaft wobbled as wheel was turned. Roller bearing inside axle shaft tube is good. Axle shaft not bent.
Check motor mounts - OK

What am I missing?

I would like to ask are you in 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive when this vibration happens and my thought is have you checked the u-joints? Sounds like the front end is brand new almost just didnt see nothing about driveline or rear axle might be a thing to check thanks

Vehicle is vibrating while in 2-WD drive mode. Vehicle is equipped with pushbutton 2/4 wd select switch which has gone bad and needs replacement (typical problem so I'm told) so I can't verify if problem would be in 4-wd as well.

Have not checked the u-joints on the main drive axle yet, but after reading some of the other blogs last night, this is where I'm going next. Haven't noticed any noise in that area - just the vibration up front.

Regards

Yes check there and well sometimes noise and vibration radiates esspecaly in the driveline you hear it over here but the problem is further back or somewhere else and has this been modified in any way like a lift kit something that may have put the driveline angles out

Thanks and a hat tip to all.

Found universal joint at rear axle in early stages of failure. Chunk came out of bearing cap, allowing the needles to escape, seal still in place. The remaining 3 bearing caps were all good yet, as was universal bearing at tranny.

Regards.
