I have a 98 chevy s-10 2.2L. My oil pressure is very high all the time, as in 60-80 psi no matter how warm or cold the vehicle is. The pressure guage seems to work right because it moves up and down with the RPM's. Is this a typical s-10 problem? Can I fix this myself? What parts would I replace?

That's way too high could be a problem with the oil pump pressure relief valve sticking close not opening -Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump
