1997 Chevy S-10 Where is the camshaft positioning sensor lo

Ran a computer check on it and this is what came up. I have the new piece but cannot find it no where. Also, would this cause it to acted like it wants to back fire when trying to start it? It tries to crank but will not turn over.

camshaft sensor is located in right side of engine near the spark plug wires.
