WE ARE LOOKING AT BUYING THIS TRUCK. IT ISNT STOCK. IT HAS A 355 IN IT I BELIEVE. BUT HE SAID SMOKE COMES OUT OF THE AIR CLEANER. HE SAYS THE RINGS AND STUFF ARENT SEATED YET. IS THIS POSSIBLE OR IS THERE ANOTHER ISSUE.

If the rings aren't seated it may possibly smoke out of the air cleaner, but not very much at all. I'd suspect the PCV system isn't hooked up or maybe the engine wasn't rebuilt properly. This may be a minor thing that is causing this but being unable to see the truck or do any tests on it then i'd keep away from it. Unless you can take it to a reliable mechanic that you know that can run some tests on it and physically look at it and say it's ok.
