1995 Chevy S-10 no power

Driving down the road and cd player goes on and off then truck lost all power. It started back drove about 1/2 mile quit lost all power and will not do anything.

Hello first check the connection on the battery to make sure there tight and then check the alternator, take a meter and check first to see if you are getting 12 volts to it. Hope this will help.
