1995 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I replaced the accumulator and the compressor, and put in interdynamics coolant/oil while engine running w/AC on. AC clutch did not engage - pressure gauge reads 37 static or w/engine & AC on. Before installing the compressor, I checked the clutch for rotation like the directions said to do. Compressor clutch does not engage.

Installed new pressure switch on accumulator (I had cracked the original by using gorilla force to tighten plastic connector!). Now held pressure, however I hadn't evacuated the system after installing compressor & accumulator. Mech evacuated system, put in new refrigerant, and it works just fine!

I thank you for the rapid response you had earlier given me.
