I have a 1994 Chevy S10 that has 150000 miles on it and a V6 engine. After I purchased this truck I realized it had patches on the gas tank when one of the patches fell off. I purchased a new gas tank and replaced it. The truck ran for 3 days then wouldn't turnover. I was advised to replace the fuel filter, when doing so the fuel line broke (it's a metal line). My father came over and took a piece of rubber hose and clamped it on either end to put on the new fuel filter. After doing so the truck still doesn't turnover. We tried to get it to turnover by putting gas in the carborator but it still won't turn over. I'm out of work right now and can't afford to take it to a shop. Any ideas for me? Thanks!

I am getting spark but I don't hear the Fuel Pump turn on. It sounds like it wants to start but doesn't turnover. I pump the gas pedal and it doesn't start but you get the clicking sound of it trying. I just don't understand why it doesn't even start when putting gas in the carborator. Please help I need to get a job. Thanks again.
