My engine runs very rough at idle but seems to smooth out a little when accelerating. I just bought truck and dealer put fuel injector cleaner in with about half tank can that have caused injectors to clog.

Not likely. If anything, it will just do its job and clear out the injectors. It is probably just due for a complete tune up. Spark plugs, wires, coils, fluids, filters etc. All need to be inspected and/or replaced.

A rough idle can be the result of many things. Things such as fuel pressure, engine vacuum leaks, low compression, plugged catalytic converter and so on can be the cause. Is there anything that changes the idle issue? For example, if you turn on the AC, does it get worse?
