Transmission problem
1992 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic n/a miles

Is there anything other than the front seal behind the torque converter that could be causing my transmission to leak because I done changed it twice and everytime I put it back in it just puked the fluid. This is a chevy s10 blazer to be exact with the 4.3 and it started out as an engine swap and the runs good but now I got a tranny leak and had it out twice I also tried using the lucas oil tranny fix and it didnt work so please help me out here because im puzzled and I have lots of automotive knowledge but this has been the most frustrating vehicle ive ever worked on. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Sorry cant afford to donate right now

Got two things then neck on torque convertor is worn possible grove. And the pump bushing is also worn allowing too much movement and allowing fluid to come out. They make a kit for convertor

The converter did have a groove in it and I kinda thought there was a bushing in there because there is one in the tail shaft of most trannys and how would I go about fixing that?

Pull the pump housing take the bolts out. There is a couple that are threaded put bolts in and that will help pull pump housing. Then drive out bushing and replace. Parst house will have that and bushing repair kit for grooved convertor.

You have a 770R4 that requires a special puller to remove pump. Also this pump assy. Is difficult to dis assemble best if a trans shop did the pump R&r and bushing replacement.
