1992 Chevy S-10 4X4 problem

1992 Chevy S-10 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles

My truck is having problems switching to 4Hi. I can go into 4Lo most of the time but it is hit and miss with 4Hi. Also, sometimes both lights on my push-button switch will come on for both 4Hi and Lo. I can hear it trying to turn on by the tires but usually a no-go. Any possible recommendations?
