1989 Chevy S-10 it wont start

I have a s-10 blazer that wont start. We have just replaced the battery and the alternator. The motor just clicks once but doesnt try to turn over. All the connections seem to be fine. What could be the problem. Thank you.

This is most likely a starter or starter solenoid issue.

This should give you an idea of whats wrong with it
