Chevy s-10 1996 4 cylinder Pick up 125K miles.

I replaced my fan clutch but I need to replace the housing and bearing on the 4 cylinder model.

I could not find this procedure in my Haynes manual and did not want to attempt the procedure if it is beyond my skills level.

Can you help?

Thanks.

Do you mean the water pump? Try the "repair Manuals" link at the bottom of main forum page. Mitchell-1 has all procedures for your truck

Sorry I was not clear. The 4 cylinder model has a separate housing for the pulley which has broken away. The 6 cylinder model has this pulley on the water pump unlike the 4 cylinder model which has the pulley on the housing and not on the water pump off to the side.

Thank you.
