Interior smells when it rains

2001 Chevrolet Suburban (100,000 miles). I think that I have narrowed down the problem to some sort of leak when it rains. The Suburban smells like rotten garbage. The passenger side carpet is wet, but I can't figure out where the leak is coming from. Any suggestions? I'm not even sure who to take the vehicle to in order to troubleshoot the problem. Help!

Another thing you may want to get checked is your heater core. My Blazer did the same thing but also wasn't putting out any heat either. Water all over the floorboard and it smelled like sewage.
