'98 S-10. 96,000 miles. Runs fine for a short time then won't idle. Bucks and jerks some at low speeds and RPMs. Excelerates ok and runs at speed ok. What ever it is seems to be temp related. The cooler it is out side the longer it takes to start running bad. The hotter it is the sooner it starts and the worse it runs. Have replaced plugs and catalytic converter. Also have cleaned butterfly in throttle body. It doesn't over heat. Once it starts to run bad then there seems to be a dead spot in the throttle. Two codes have been given. One is "System To Lean" and the other is EGR "Insufficient Airflow". Was told to take EGR off and make sure it's not built up with carbon. Looks good, nothing that would restrict airflow. Little plunger on bottom seems to work ok. Any suggestions before I start spending money on expensive sensors and valves. Was going to replace coolant temp sensor and o2 sensors before and after the cat. Converter next.

I would first remove the plugs and make sure they are all the uniform correct color...... throw in some injector cleaner if one is clogged it will run good at high rpms but may run lean at lower rpms making it hard to keep an idle possibly new injectors Http://www.injectors4u.com also check your vacuum lines and your pcv valve....good luck :)
