What does it means when the liquid in the coolant system turns to yellow goo & what is the best cooler to use in a chevy aveo lt 2005 at 36000 miles

It means it needs cooling system flushing and an antifreeze 50/50 solution mix

You can do this yoursel-just find the radiator drain plug open it up let all the coolant out, remove the radiator cap stick in the water hose let it run as you filling up run the engine till it clears about 20 mins. Then stop the engine and fill it with new antifreeze.

About price dunno about your local area-2 antifreeze gal cost about $10.00 a piece =that's 20.00 it will probably cost with labor about 60.00.

I purchased the prestone 5/100 extended life antfreeze & coolant because the sales person said that this is for any chevy 2003 and up although I told him my veh is a 2005 chevy aveo does it make a difference?

Get the yellow gallon( Prestone) and make sure you ask, is it compatible to DEX-COOL license under DC-002 if not and anything goes wrong with the cooling system under the 5yr/150,000 warranty its gonna come out of your pocket.
