My car just filled with freon but after one week its blowing hot air again. Before filling the freon, the mechanic checked for any leakage but nothing found. What is the problem? How long will it takes to fill the compressor with Freon? Bec. It took only 5 minutes when he fill it.
Thank you.

HI there,

I would say that you have a refrigerant leak, when the system is to be re charged, it should be fully emptied of old refrigerant and vacuumed down for about 1/2 Hr then let sit for around 5 min and check for any leaks, (loss of vacuum) if this was not done the system may be faulty, have this checked first.

Hello Mark,

Thanks for your reply. I will ask the mechanic to do what you have advised and get back to you for any development.
