Q:Will a 350 5.7 Liter small block V8 line up with the transmission I already have or will I have to buy a new one?

We just put a 350 in a 74 that had a six and everything lined up great.

The one problem you may have would be that they changed fly wheel and starter setups over the years. As long as you use a current model engine or check the numbers with GM, you should be OK.

You need to change the motor mounting bracet on the frame
