how do I change the transmission in my 97 monte carlo? Can I do it with out takeing out the engine?

Hi:
Removing the trans is a very involved process. For me to try to give directions via the net allows too much room for error. I recommend getting a good repair manual that provides step by step instructions and pictures to identify parts.
