I need to know what would cause my windsheild wipers to rest in an erect position. The motor seems to work just fine, because they turn on and off. They just rest in an erect position causing the windshild to never be cleaned because the fluid just flies back up on the windsheild.

There is a part that mounts to the top of the wiper motor that parks the wiper arms. Im not sure what it is called but your local dealer knows what it is. If you can get back to me on what the part is called if you call them

The part on top of the windsheild wiper motor is called the modual and it took me about an hour tops to snatch out the old motor and pop in the new one. The auto parts stores sell the modual and motor as a unit.

Thats not what it is, there is a different part for it. I know the module is there but there is something else. It mounts right on the motor output shaft
