parking lights willl not shute off after car is off.


If the parking lights stay on after the car is turned off which causes car battery to run down on a 2001 monte carlo how do you fix this?

Hi:
It could be a short allowing power to go to the lights or a bad headlight switch. Start by having the switch checked. If it is good, you will need to trace wiring looking for a short.
