I HAVE BEEN QUOTED APRICE OF 1700.00 TO REPLACE ALL FOUR STRUTS. DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT?

That is a bit high, you should check around try to find a place that iwll do it for atleast 1500. But if the more expensive one is ase certified and the cheaper one is not, I would go with the other one as it will be done right.
