1998 Chevy Monte Carlo Location of TPS sensor

I have to replace to the TPS on my 98 monte carlo. Where is it located? The people at Autozone didnt have a clue. Thanks

The only thing I have on the TPS is for a V6 3.8L engine, you sure its a V8?

One more thing. Someone said I may need to clock the new sensor. How do I know if I need to do this, or can I just swap out the old for the new?

Swap out the TPS and check the closed and wide open throttle voltages
