1996 Monte Carlo LS - Noise, Hestiation Again

Hi, I wrote you guys a month or two ago. The strage clicking and hesitation disappeared, but then at my last oil change its back and it won't disappear until I drive it. The hesitation will disappear if I let the car warm up first and now theres white smoke coming out of the tailpipe.

When I ran a diagnostic machine, I got Cyllinder 5 Misfire and problems with the catalytic converter.


EDIT: False alarm on the white smoke, failed to realize its cold and rainy.

A friend thinks it might be a spark plug knocking?

Okay, I've been losing coolant, that I failed to mention up to this point. I assumed it was a cracked head gasket, but i'm not getting any oil in my coolant or vice versa.
