1984 Chevy Monte Carlo Key will not come out of ignition

I just bought the car. When they first jumped it the key went in and came out. Then the second time I put the key in and test drove it and thats when key got stuck.
(it is a reverse body valve)
tried puting it in nuetral and park still nothing.
ignition turns but wont come out please help!
The area I live in isnt the best lol!

Hey had the same issue in my 87 you drop a pin inside the ignition switch you will have to replace the whole thing but you can shifting furiously for a while seen it work once better shot is to replace it sorry
