1977 Chevy Monte Carlo speedometer gauge not working.

I have a 1977 chevy monte carlo, and recently my speedometer gauge has stopped working. It was working fine and then one day I went to my car and started driving, and I noticed that it has stopped.

May have a broken speedo cable go to trans on tailshaft find cable. Unscrew from trans pull on cable if it come out then broken. Will need to pull speedo out and remove cable from unit and replace
