My 1997 malibu has a leak just like yours, and so has 4 other people in my class, to fix it you need someone to assist you. First start your car, turn the steering wheel all the way left then right while applying frim pressure when wheel stops to either side, Have someone (WEARING EYE PROTECTION) look around the High pressure hose and the return hose, make sure not the have hands near the hoses as high pressure fluids may shoot under your skin.
Once you find out what hose is leaking find a replacement. The High pressure hose is the one with the metal angled vavle just above the belt and the return hose is behind it so you cnat see it. Canadian tire is pretty cheap and usually will have it. It doesnt take long to do and is quiet fun. And that should take care of your problem
