Is the shifter cable covered as part of the GM powertrain warranty. If not, what is the general cost for this repair (to have a new cable put in). Thanks!

If you are still under the bumper to bumper warranty, yes. However, I don't think it is covered under the powertrain warranty.

The part is around 36.00 dollars and labor is calling for 1.8 hours.
