2005 Chevy Malibu Just replaced pads.

I just installed the new pads, everything went smooth as usual- only now it is harder to actually stop the car. I don't understand why it would. Any help?

The brake pads have tabs on the top of them. One is higher that the other. Make sure they are in the correct order. The other thing is that you should make sure that one of the brake hoses are not twisted.
