Try cleaning connector to IAC and harness with electronics cleaner, but the IAC may need to be replaced.

My car has been idleing low while in park or while in drive at the light. Sometimes it will die out or get really hot even hotter on the freeway. Ive checked and cleaned my hoses and the iacv and have just changed the plugs and wires. No difference in the lack of power or idling. So I unpluged the oxygen senser and it ran well for a day then it just got worst.
