I just changed the intake manifold gasket. When I started it, it runs in high rpm and doesnt cool. I bleed the coolant but no change. I also seem to need to bleed the brakes no as it is very hard to stop.

Check for a vacuum leak and also properly bleed the brakes-make sure there's no leakage in the brake system

Thanks, I will look for the vacuum leak, I still don't understand how changing the gasket made me need to bleed the brakes though.

Brakes didn't quite understand you -Ok check the the brake vacuum hose and also the vacuum reading in it-could be low and causing the booster not to do its job
