1999 Chevy Malibu head gaskets

I have water boiling back into my resivior jug but my temp is fine does this mean I have a blown headgasket

Hi there,

Your mechanic can test for a head gasket problem easily, when you say the water is "boiling"back is it steaming? As you may have a second problem with a faulty temp sender as it should indicate an overheating problem, but only if the sensor is still covered with water, check the coolant level and get a head check done.
