It is not really that hard if you have a place and the tools to do it. First take off the coil, intake plenum, valve covers, intake manifold, unbolt the exhaust, take the lifter off the valves. Then unbolt the heads. If you are planning on keeping the car you should take the heads to a machine shop and get them milled. Hope that helps. Good luck.
