air bag removal on steer wheel

First turn ignition all the way off and remove the SIR or AIRBAG fuse. Then disconnect yellow SIR connector at base of steering column.Wait at least 2 minutes before removing the bag.Remove screws and nuts from underside of steering wheel and remove inflator module, then horn contact plate.Remove large nut holding wheel on, you will need a special puller to remove the wheel
