2001 Chevy Lumina Security Light

Last month I had the lock cylinder replaced on my car because of an intermittent no start. The problem has gone away and the security light stayed out.

Over the weekend the light started staying on. The car starts with no problem and runs just fine.

Most likely the sensor for the pass-lock (security system) is shorted out or the wiring to it in the column is bad. You would most likely have to take the colummn apart o see which one is the problem
