About 6 months ago I replaced the battery alt and starter in my car. The reason was somthing was causing the battery to go low and alt went bad. Ran great for 6 months then died again so I replaced the alt brand new and it ran fine for about 4 days then as I was driving the generator light came on so I shut car off then tried to restart but nothing. So I waited about 20 minutes and then it started right up with out prob. Ran good for about 2 weeks then went to turn over very slow crank now will not start but radio works lights work and are very bright. Now when I go to turn over nothing it will not even turn over but everything works fine as above radio lights ect. Thank you

Hi dva71375,

Thank you for the donation.

1. Check the starter solenoid wire for loose or dislodged connection. If solenoid wire is intact, disconnect it and use a remote wire to apply battery voltage. If starter does not crank, it is bad.

If starter cranks, then you need to check the ignition switch and security system if equipped.
