I am wondering how to get to the thermostat. What do I have to remove in order to get to the bolts. Everything seems to be in the way and I cant get a wrench in there.

You can use a flex ratchet to loosen the 2 screws. It is hard to get to and will take time.

Thanks Raz! I hadn't thought about doing it that way. I have a '96, and I've got her down to the throttle body. I was hoping I wouldn't have to take anything else off, just to get to the thermostat housing. (Whatever happened to the good ole days when the thermostat was on the front of the engine by the water pump? Lol)

Could be like the 3.7/4.7 in the Chrysler products. The thermostat is located in a plastic housing on the bottom of the engine!

I wound up having to take the throttle body off to get to the bolts. It was easier to get to, but still difficult. One of my neighbors had specific tools, and helped me with it. Hope that helps somebody.
