My car rides great but from time to time I find myself in a unsafe situation. Today I was coming from Turkey Hill and I was at the light so when it turned green my car was started but when I pushed the gas it would slowly move like it was coasting.I switched to neutral but was on a little hill so it wouldn't go so I switched to reverse and it got me back into the gas station. I parked and turned vehicle off counted to 50:) and then started and attempted to give it a go again, it coasted and as I reached a few feet vrooooom. It took off. Now this isn't the first time I had this problem, what u think. In addition when I got tune up it was brought to my attention that the fuel filter is rusted on could that play a part? Thanks for your time

No check engine light this time but before it did actually and when I took it to the shop they said too many things were coming up on the diagnosis that weren't related so that it might be my computer so they turned engine light off and said to come back if it came back on. It never did. Would my cars computer system be the cause. It didn't make much sense to me.

There are a lot of possibilities here and probably not something that your going so solve on the Internet. Someone is going to have to examine it during the failure and test a few things to find out what system is not responding.
