1999 Chevy Lumina power steering binding, whining noise

What can I do about the whining noise coming from the power steering pump?

Check the fluid level and add if needed. If that dont do the trick. You may need a new power steering pump. Also check for damaged or kinked lines coming off the power steering pump. Good luck :)
