Remove the thermostat?

How do I remove the thermostat to replace it?

Hello,

The thermostat replace on this Lumina can be done using simple hand tools.
It is a fairly straight forward process.
You will first have to take of the air intake tubing for easy access to the thermostat housing.
There are just 2 bolts that keeps the housing in place.
Remember to only work on the cooling system when the engine is cold.
You also might want to drain the coolant in order to reduce coolant spilling all over.
