1998 Chevy Lumina thermostat

If you follow the upper rad hose to the engine, it will lead you to the t-stat housing. Drain the coolant from the radiator, remove the upper hose, and unbolt the housing. The t-stat is under the housing. Pay attention to the direction the t-stat is pointing so you can replace it the same way. Just reverse the procedure to replace.
