1998 Chevy Lumina Changed Brakes but now they dont work?

Ok I have a 98 chevy lumina. I just replaced the brakes today, and took it for a test drive, but once doing so I have to push the brake pedal all the way down, and that still didnt make the brakes work? So if u have any ideas on how to fix this problem or let me know what is causing this to happen that would be great thx's

Don't put your self and the surrounding drivers in danger!
You should have it check by a qualified personal

you may :
check master cylinder
do u have an ABS
check rear brakes
check for fluid leaks
check for air in the system
