hello my husband bought a 97 chevy lumina LS and we can smell gas while driving car, mechanic said it might have a clog while aving to fix is there a treament we can use for the fumes?

I had the same problem on my Z34 1999 Chevy Lumina, go figure! Usually it comes from bad fuel injection system. Injectors could loosen and/or weaken as they age, causing spurts of gas to leak out frequently. Immediatley service!
