My driver side rear door lock has been locked into a locked mode. The door can not be closed at all. The automatic door locks work fine for the remaining doors though. The door lock button on the door in question has been pushed into the panel. Should I take the inside panel off to gain access to this area and if so, can it be easily fixed?

Just a thought, On some models I have seen that catch get turned down with the door open, if that is the case, the door catch will bounce off the pillar post. Sometimes, I can use a screwdriver, to lift on the door latch, get it to move up, so the cavity is open. Then I can shut the door. Of course, I can't see your door from here, don't know if that will work? Just a thought.
