1996 Chevy Lumina power window

When I push the auto power window switch the window goes down and if I try to bring it right back up, I have to wait a few minutes and play with the switch until the window comes up. I don't have the problem if I lower it in steps. Do I have a switch or motor problem? Or is there a botoming out stop switch in there that is hanging up?

There's an easy way to find out if it is a bad switch:

Remove a known good window switch from one of the other door, and put it on the door with the window you have issue with.
If the window goes up and down with no problem, then you know your switch is the problem.
