1995 Chevy Lumina brake lights dont get brighter

i understand that this is probably a problem with the turn signal switch located in the steering column this is a nightmare to fix on my own. my question is what are the usual charges for repair and replacement of this part. thank you i dont want to get ripped off

id get a junkyard part and take it to a independent mechanic and have him do it. cost about 100-200 to do all of it.

if you took it in and had a new switch put in would be near 400 dollars, if memory serves right a switch is near 300 odd dollars.
