Can you check for codes? If your datalink connector looks like the picture, you should be able to check codes for yourself. Use a jumper between the A&B terminals, turn on the key just till the dash lites come on, no crank. The chek engine lite should start flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.

Can you check fuel pressure? Another problem that can be temp related is the coolant temp sensor. I'm not saying the sensor is faulty, you need to do some testing.
