I've had this lumina for over two years now, and when I bought it, it ran fine. But it's been downhill now for about a year. There has been an oil leak which has progressivly gotten worse. I don't have the money to take it to a shop. And with the weather I haven't been able to get down and really look at it. But I have to put about a quart of oil in it every two weeks. Also now it's been running through engine coolant like candy. That aside, it always want to start, and when it does it only runs for about 3 minutes before it dies, and then won't start again for another 20 mins. A friend said it sounded like a Fuel module.

It would be great it you could tell me how to fix it.

The part about it not starting sounds like a crank position sensor. Had the same problem with mine and no one new what the problem was. It doesn't even show up on the scan tool. As far as the coolant, if you cant find a leak, then its probably burning up in the combustion chamber, which means head gasket. The oil leak can be coming from several places. If thats a 3.1 then yes, several places, there is also a dummy shaft where the distributor would have went if there was one and the o ring on that goes bad, letting alot of oil leak, oil pan, valve covers, lower intake. Yes a lot of areas.
