1992 Chevy Lumina won't turn over

92 Lumina- been driving for weeks just fine. All the sudden one morning it cranks, but won't turn over. Took out ignition control module and it tests fine. Reinstalled it. Still not turning over. Shot some starter fluid in and it started right up and ran fine. Turned off. Let it sit. Started up again fine. Shut it off and hours later. Cranks again, but won't turn over? Any suggestions? Fuel injectors, fuel pump? How much might I expect for these repairs to cost?

Have a helper stick their head down by the fuel tank.

Then you turn the key to the ON position, but do not turn it to the START position.

They should hear the fuel pump come on for about 3 seconds.

You can hear the fuel pump engage when switchin the ignition to the on position. What next?

Now you are going to have to do a fuel pressure test, and check for spark the next time it wont start.

Put the Lumina in a shop.2 days later. They call sayin don't know what's wrong. Scanner won't detect fault. Narrowed down to ignition module(which we removed and parts store tested as OK), crank sensor. Or computer--Not sure if they did a pressure test! NOW WHAT?

Updated: They did do a pressure test. It would come up then go right away? Still thinking it's fuel pump?

Is there spark at the spark plugs?

That doesn't sound good, what was the pressure when it came on?
